Paris Right Bank - Rue des Barres and rue Grenier-sur-l'Eau
Rue des Barres owes its name to the place called “des Barres”, mentioned from 1152, a place where mills were located on the Seine. Rue Grenier-sur-l'Eau owes its name to a bourgeois of Paris, owner, called Garnier or Guernier living in the district, near the water.
