Paris 3rd district - Le Marché des "Enfants-Rouges" ("Red Children" market)
The name of the "Red Children" comes from the proximity of the Red Children Hospice (1524-1777), created by Marguerite de Navarre for orphans whose uniform was red, which also gave its name to the district. The Marché des Enfants-Rouges is the oldest covered market in Paris.
